Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Trimax aluminum HD adjustable two-ball mount for your 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. This durable aluminum ball mount, as I mentioned, is going to fit into your 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. And with a 20,000 pound gross trailer weight rating and a 2,000 pound tongue weight limit, this is gonna be able to handle the demands of Class 5 towing, meaning that this is gonna be suitable for hauling commercial trailers, large campers and equipment. And this is going to be very flexible because it's adjustable.

It's going to give you a 6-inch adjustable drop or rise when you flip this over to ensure a level towing for different trailer heights. And it's gonna be very easy to get that adjustment that you're looking for. So I'm just gonna go ahead and pull this clip. And then when you remove the pin, that's going to allow you to easily get that height adjustment that you're looking for. And then when you are wanting to swap out the ball, I've got this currently set on the 2 5/16 inch ball.

Just gonna go ahead and pull this all the way out like that. And then as you can see inside the platform, a pin is holding that combo ball into place. So I'm just going to switch this over to the 2-inch ball, drop this back down to the place. And so now I'm ready to use my 2-inch ball. Lemme go ahead and slide my pin back into place right here.

And it's going to be, as you can see, pretty easy to get this adjustment. Obviously, this is going to work a lot better when you have this in your trailer hitch receiver, but that's. Now I'm ready to use my 2-inch ball. So, very easy to use. Speaking of using the balls here, that 20,000 pound gross towing weight is with a 2 5/16 inch ball.

When you use the 2-inch ball, it's going to be 8,000 pounds. It's indicated here on the ball itself. This does adjust in 1-inch increments for basically a hassle-free setup. And then if you we inchesre wondering about some measurements, I went ahead and took some. Measuring from the center of the ball to the center of our first hitch pin hole, we're sitting at 9 1/2 inches. To the second hitch pin hole, 10 1/2 inches. And then from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, about 1 3/4 quarters inches. So this is built for heavy-duty towing. It is engineered for industrial and commercial use, so it's gonna be perfect for towing large trailers, equipment, heavy loads. It's built from solid aluminum, giving you not only that strength without extra weight, but it's also going to be resistant to corrosion. So this is going to be great to use, like, for boat trailers, in particular, towing and all sorts of various different kinds of weather conditions as well.
